Your Listing Presentation Starts Online

Buyers and Sellers Check Your Website Before They Call

Almost every real estate client starts online. Buyers search homes on their phones for weeks before they contact an agent. Sellers look up two or three agents and compare their websites before they choose who to invite for a listing appointment. Your real estate website is part of your listing presentation, whether you are in the room or not.

Most agent websites fall into one of two traps. Some are broker-provided templates that look like every other agent in the office. Others are pretty brochure sites with no home search, no neighborhood content and no reason for a buyer to come back. Neither one builds a brand or a pipeline of leads.

We design real estate websites that do both. The design reflects your brand and your market, and the site is built around what buyers and sellers actually want: search homes, learn about neighborhoods, see proof you get results, and reach you fast. The image above shows a real site we built for the Imperato Fazzino Real Estate Group, on a laptop and a phone. Every site is mobile-first and built on WordPress so you own it.

What Clients Look For

What Buyers and Sellers Want From an Agent Website

These are the features that keep real estate visitors on your site, bring them back and turn them into leads.

Home search with IDX

Search listings by area, price, beds and baths, with map views and saved searches, right on your site.

Neighborhood guides

Pages for the communities you serve, with schools, amenities and market insight only a local agent can offer.

Market expertise

Market updates, sold listings and home value information that show sellers you know their market.

Reviews and testimonials

Client reviews and stories that build trust with buyers and sellers before the first call.

Agent bio and brand

A professional bio, photos and brand identity that make you memorable, not interchangeable.

Easy contact on mobile

Tap-to-call, tap-to-text and short forms, because most real estate browsing happens on phones.

Real Estate Website Best Practices

Design Elements of the Best Real Estate Websites

The best real estate websites combine strong branding with practical tools. These are the design elements we build in.

A home page that leads with search

A search bar or featured listings near the top, because that is why most visitors came.

Beautiful visuals and photography

Large, high-quality property photos, video and virtual tours that let the homes sell themselves.

Consistent branding

Logo, colors and typography that match your signs, cards and social media.

Simple navigation

Buy, sell, communities, about and contact, with nothing important hidden.

Useful search filters

Filters for price, beds, baths, school district and property type that make search feel easy.

Lead capture that feels helpful

Saved searches, listing alerts and home value requests instead of pop-ups that block the page.

We also avoid what drives real estate visitors away: slow listing pages, forced registration before anyone can see a single home, autoplay music and cluttered home pages. A buyer should be able to browse freely and choose to register when saving searches becomes worth it.

Broker templates and national platforms launch fast, but they rarely rank for your neighborhoods and can be hard to take with you if you change brokerages. A custom WordPress site with IDX is yours, builds your personal brand and moves with your career.

Pages That Rank in Your Market

Pages We Build for Real Estate Websites

Portals like Zillow dominate generic searches. Local agents win with neighborhood and niche pages portals cannot match.

Community pages

A page for each neighborhood and subdivision you serve, with homes for sale and real local insight.

Search and listing pages

IDX-powered pages for property types, price ranges and popular searches in your market.

Seller pages

Home value requests, your marketing plan and sold results for sellers deciding who to hire.

Buyer pages

First-time buyer guides, relocation information and financing basics for buyers getting started.

Property management pages

Services for owners and investors, plus tenant resources, applications and maintenance requests.

Market updates and blog

Regular market insight that builds authority and gives buyers and sellers a reason to return.

Community pages are where local agents beat national portals. A detailed page on a specific subdivision, written by an agent who actually sells there, can outrank a portal for searches like homes for sale in that neighborhood.

If you already have a site with rankings, we protect them during a redesign by keeping the URLs and content that carry value. Browse more of our work in our portfolio.

Built to Be Found

Real Estate Website Design and Local SEO, Built Together

Real estate is intensely local, and so is real estate search. Buyers search for homes in specific neighborhoods and school districts. Sellers search for agents who know their area. A real estate website that is not built for local search leaves those clients to portals and competing agents.

We build every page with clear titles and headings, real estate agent schema and location details that match your Google Business Profile, which is the foundation of local SEO. Community pages are planned and linked so Google understands the areas you serve.

More buyers and sellers now ask AI assistants for agent recommendations. Clear bios, reviews and well-structured community pages give AI search engines accurate information about you to share.

Features That Work Hard

Built-In Tools for Agents and Brokers

Your website should generate and organize leads for you. These are the tools we build into real estate websites.

IDX home search

Listings from your MLS through an IDX provider, with map search, saved searches and listing alerts.

Home valuation requests

A simple form that invites sellers to request a market analysis.

Video and virtual tours

Property videos and virtual tour embeds that keep buyers engaged.

CRM integration

Leads flow into the CRM you already use so nobody falls through the cracks.

Analytics and call tracking

See which pages, communities and searches bring in real leads.

Fast listing pages

Fast hosting and optimized images so listing pages load quickly on phones.

Our sites run on WordPress hosting built for Core Web Vitals, managed by the same team that builds them. Want a second opinion on your current site? Start with a free website audit.

Texas Requirements

TREC Notices Every Texas Real Estate Website Needs

Texas real estate license holders have two website requirements that many agent and brokerage sites miss. Under Texas Real Estate Commission rules, each broker and sales agent must link to a completed Information About Brokerage Services notice in a readily noticeable place on the homepage of each business website. The link must be labeled Texas Real Estate Commission Information About Brokerage Services in at least 10 point font, or TREC Information About Brokerage Services in at least 12 point font.

TREC rules also require a link to the Consumer Protection Notice in a readily noticeable place on the homepage, labeled Texas Real Estate Commission Consumer Protection Notice in at least 10 point font, or TREC Consumer Protection Notice in at least 12 point font.

We build both links into every Texas real estate website we design, in a visible spot on the homepage. This is general information, not legal advice. Confirm current requirements with TREC or your broker, and remember that your MLS and IDX provider have their own display rules for listing data.

FAQ

Real Estate Website Design Questions

IDX home search, community pages for the areas you serve, a strong agent bio and brand, seller and buyer resources, reviews, easy contact on mobile and, in Texas, the required TREC notice links on the homepage.

IDX lets your website display MLS listings through an approved IDX provider, so buyers can search homes on your site instead of leaving for a portal. Most agents who want buyer leads benefit from it. Your MLS and IDX provider set the display rules.

Texas brokers and sales agents must link to a completed Information About Brokerage Services notice and to the Consumer Protection Notice in a readily noticeable place on the homepage of each business website, with specific labels and font sizes. We build both into every Texas real estate site.

It depends on the number of community pages, IDX setup, integrations and whether we write the content. We scope the project first and give you one number in writing before work starts.

A custom WordPress site on your own domain is yours. We set it up so your brand, content and rankings can move with you, with updates to broker information as needed.

Not for broad searches, but local agents can win neighborhood, subdivision and niche searches that portals do not serve well. That is why we build detailed community pages into every real estate site.

Yes. We design sites with owner services, tenant resources, online rental applications and maintenance request forms, connected to the property management software you use where it supports it.
