MANAGED CLOUD HOSTING | AWS, VPS, DEDICATED | OUR IT TEAM ON CALL
Managed Cloud and AWS Hosting: Dedicated Resources for the Sites That Outgrow Shared Hosting
A store doing real volume, a directory with thousands of pages, a practice group with six locations and a patient portal. When a site outgrows shared hosting, we move it to managed cloud or dedicated resources, tune it the same way we tune everything else, and keep the same support line. Our IT team manages the infrastructure; you never see a console unless you want to.

What you get
Dedicated resources, managed by us
Managed cloud
Dedicated CPU, memory and storage on cloud infrastructure we manage, sized to the site and scaled when traffic spikes.
AWS
For sites that need AWS specifically: the account, the architecture, the backups and the bill, managed by us so the client has one vendor.
VPS and dedicated servers
A server of your own for the sites that need it, with the enhanced security included in every plan and our admins on call.
Enhanced security
Firewall, intrusion detection, patching, malware scanning and tested backups, on every managed plan.
When to move up
The signs shared hosting is the ceiling
Checkout slows under load. The catalog import times out. Core Web Vitals pass on a quiet day and fail on a busy one. The portal needs resources the neighbors on a shared server cannot spare. Those are the moments we move a site to managed cloud, and because the same team runs the hosting, the development and the SEO, the move is a scheduled night, not a project. Free migration applies, URLs preserved.

What managed means
You get the site. We get the server.
Admins on call
Our IT team of admins is available to troubleshoot. The support line is the same number as every other plan.
Tuned for Core Web Vitals
Caching, PHP workers, database tuning and image handling set per site, measured monthly.
Backups that restore
Daily, retained, tested. A hacked or broken site is restored in minutes from a clean copy.
Choosing a provider
AWS vs Google Cloud vs Azure: which cloud provider and service is right for your website?
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure are the three largest cloud providers. All three rent compute, storage and networking by the hour, and all three can run a business website or application well. The differences are mostly in pricing models, tooling and which other services you already use.
AWS has the widest range of services, from EC2 virtual machines to managed databases, load balancing and content delivery. Google Cloud is strong in data and analytics and is often chosen by teams already invested in Google tools. Azure fits organizations that run on Microsoft software and need the cloud platform to match. For a WordPress or WooCommerce site, any of them works. The platform matters far less than how it is set up and who manages it.
That is the real question: who does the server administration? A raw cloud account gives you a virtual machine and a bill. Someone still has to patch it, monitor it, back it up and fix it at 2 a.m. We manage AWS for clients who need it and run our own managed cloud for those who do not, so you get one provider and one support line either way. Estimate the AWS side with our AWS cost calculator.
Cost and value
Is cloud hosting more expensive than shared hosting?
Yes, usually, and it should be. On shared hosting, many sites split one server’s capacity. On managed cloud hosting, your workload gets dedicated CPU, memory and storage, plus the monitoring and support that keep it running. You pay for capacity and reliability you can count on.
The value shows up in what does not happen. No checkout slowing down on a busy day. No downtime because a neighbor on the server got hacked. No lost data, because backups are tested and disaster recovery is planned before it is needed. For a store, a directory or a practice portal, one bad day of downtime can cost more than a year of the difference.
Some businesses move away from AWS because the bill grew in ways nobody expected, usually from oversized instances, forgotten storage or data transfer charges. Management solves most of that. We size the resources to the site, review the bill and adjust as traffic changes. If shared hosting still fits your site, we will tell you so. Our WordPress hosting plans cover most small business sites.
Types of hosting
What are the different types of web hosting, and how do you choose the best cloud server?
There are four common types. Shared hosting puts many sites on one server and is right for most small sites. A VPS, or virtual private server, gives your site a reserved slice of a server. Dedicated hosting gives you a whole physical server. Cloud hosting spreads your site across a pool of infrastructure that can scale up when traffic spikes and down when it is quiet.
To choose the best cloud server, start with your requirements: traffic patterns, the application (WordPress, WooCommerce, a custom app), the size of your data, and any compliance needs such as PCI for payments. Then size the compute and memory to the busiest day, not the average one, and plan recovery before you need it. Our page on cloud, dedicated, VPS and enterprise hosting compares them side by side.
Developers and enterprise teams often want more control: staging copies, SSH access, specific PHP versions. We set that up. Owners who just want a fast, secure site get the same infrastructure without ever logging into a console. Either way, it is all part of our web hosting service, run by our own team.
Questions
Managed Cloud and AWS Hosting FAQ
Managed dedicated plans start at $99.95 a month. Cloud and AWS plans are sized to the site, and the price you sign up at is the price you renew at.
No. We manage the account, the architecture and the bill. You get a site that is fast and a support line that answers.
Yes. Migration is free and URLs are preserved, the same as every other plan.
Yes, and this is where larger stores belong: object caching, dedicated resources and PCI-ready configuration.
We do. Patching, firewall and scanning are part of managed, not add-ons.
Usually, because you get dedicated capacity, monitoring and support instead of sharing one server. The value is fewer slowdowns, less downtime and tested disaster recovery.
Both rent compute and storage by the hour. AWS has the widest range of services; Google Cloud is strong in data and analytics. For a business website, how the platform is managed matters more than which provider you pick.
Yes. Monitoring, patching, firewall, malware scanning and tested daily backups are included, and recovery is planned before it is ever needed.
When shared hosting is the ceiling, this is the next floor.
