How to Dump The Cache in Chrome

Many computer issues are caused by old stale files residing on your computer. In order to speed up delivery browsers cache files. What that means to you is that it does not check the internet for a newer copy of the file, including webpages. We often tell our clients to clear their cache and this will fix a majority of issues. Here is a step by step process of how to do that.

In Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More

  1.  Clear browsing data.
  2. At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
  3. Next to “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files,” check the boxes.
  4. Click Clear data.
